Why Your English Is Not Bad - You Just Need More Speaking Practice
Why this feels difficult

Your English Is Not Bad—You’re Practising Your Second or Third Language! Before we go any further, I want to say something important. If your English is not where you want it to be, that does not mean you are bad at languages. English was never your first language. For many Indians, it is not even the second language.
Tell an American: “You should learn Spanish. Millions of people around you speak it.” And he may say: “Boy, I’m not touching Spanish. I speak American.” American is not a language, Brad! So please don’t feel intimidated by people who are fluent in their first and only language.
A practice method that actually works
The goal is communication: being understood, expressing your ideas and continuing even when every sentence is not perfect. You have already done the harder thing. You learned another language at all.
